In 1983, the Sylvia Funeral Home that was located in Vineyard Haven on the island of Martha's Vineyard merged with Chapman, Cole & Gleason. Subsequently, a more centrally located, spacious facility was built in the Town of Oak Bluffs on the Vineyard in 1988.

Our home in Oak Bluffs provides comfortable, well appointed visitation rooms with a peaceful atmosphere for families during visitations, memorial services and funeral services. Directors Michael Hoyt and Leonard Verville are committed to providing each client with the utmost sensitivity and ability.
