David L. McElroy

David L. McElroy born in 1931 in Boston to Charles and Catherine, brother of Charles H., David attended Belmont H.S.’49, Harvard A.B.’53, MBA ‘’60. He served as an U.S. Air Force Lieutenant, he leaves his wife Lucy of 65 years, and his children Caryl, Dianne, David, Jane, Douglas, nine grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, and 28 nieces and nephews. He worked for General Electric, served as a consultant for Stanford Research Institute and the US Government, Gillette, and most recently as Managing Partner for the New Haven Park Plaza. He had a deep faith, loved all sports and was a great Coach and mentor to baseball and hockey teams and anyone who wanted to learn to skate, ski, throw a football or hit a baseball.

His life and faith will be celebrated at a Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue, S. Yarmouth, MA 02664, to be held on Tuesday February 12th, at 11:00 am, followed by a burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA 02532.
