Jean N. (Hewitt) Kullas

1934 ∼ 2019

Jean (Hewitt) Kullas, of Hyannis, passed away peacefully on January 26 2019 after a long illness. Jean was the loving wife of Richard (Spike) Kullas for 66 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. In addition to her husband, Richard, she leaves behind her children: Daune Baker, Mark Kullas, and his wife Julianne, Lori Davis Kullas, David Kullas and his wife Anne.  She is predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Nickulas. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and is predeceased by her great granddaughter, Katelynn Bearse.  She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, all of with whom she loved spending time.  Jean graduated from Taunton High School in 1952. She and Spike moved to Cape Cod in 1962. Jean was an active supporter of the March of Dimes, Al-Anon and Alateen.  Her sense of humor and quick wit made her an excellent card player. She was also an accomplished bowler and played in numerous leagues, making many friends throughout the years. What Jean loved most in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Visiting Hours will be 4-6 pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd., Marstons Mills, MA, and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 am Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S Main St., Centerville.  A celebration of life will be held immediately after the Mass in the church hall.
