Margaret  E.  Chiocca

Margaret  E. (Nicholson)  Chiocca of Bridgewater died January 6, 2017 in the Good Samaritan Medical Center at the age of 92.  Margaret was born in Boston daughter of the late Cecelia (Travers) and Joseph Nicholson. Margaret was active in the St. Thomas Aquinas Women’s Club, loved to cook and dance but her pride and passion was her family.

Wife of more than 60 years of the late Ernest E. “Nay” Chiocca. Mother of Kevin Chiocca and his wife Diane of Bridgewater, Cheryl White of FL,  Mario Chiocca of Bridgewater, Allan Chiocca and his wife Mary Jean of Bridgewater, Ellen Chiocca Carey  and her husband Phil of Bridgewater and the late baby Mary Chiocca. Margaret is also  survived by  8 Grandchildren and  3 Great Grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Eunice Dooley and Joseph and Eugene Nicholson.

Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater Wednesday , January 11th at 9:00am. A Funeral Mass  will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater at10:00 AM.

Visiting Hours Tuesday, January 10th from 3-7pm.

Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.

Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society 103 Center Street Bridgewater, MA 02324.
