Marie L. Deechan

Marie L. (Blair) Deechan of East Falmouth passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the JML Care Center. She was 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Henry Deechan. Daughter of the late Grace and David Blair. Marie enjoyed being a member of the choir and worked as dance teacher and choreographer for many years.

She was the mother of the late Thomas Deechan, Jr., Ann Reinhagen of CA, William Deechan of W. Yarmouth, Dr. Kathleen Deechan Roberts of Florida, and the late Deborah Deechan. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Gretchen, Kristen, and Rob Reinhagen, Thomas Deechan and Alison Haiig; her 6 great grandchildren; her daughters-in-law, Anna Deechan and Deb Deechan, and her son-in-law, Glenn Roberts. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Bob Reinhagen.

Visiting hours will be held from 10-11:30am on Monday, March 11th at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00pm at St. Patrick Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
