Matthew A. Anesti

Matthew Aaron Anesti, 37, of Wareham passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 9, 2017.  He was the son of Paul and Joy (Martel) Anesti.

Matthew was born in Brockton, and was a resident of Wareham where he grew up.  As an experienced fish cutter, Matt worked in the seafood industry for many years.  He was a passionate fisherman and was never more at home than when he was out fishing. Matt also enjoyed basketball, camping, singing, & had a talent for drawing. 

He was a loyal friend to everyone...a sweet soul with a great voice and a funny guy with an infectious laugh that could uplift your spirits. 

In addition to his parents, Matthew also leaves behind his brother & sister in law, Paul S. Anesti, Jr. & his wife Robyn L. (Malizia), his sister & brother in law, Nicole M. (Anesti) & Robert R. Browne; his 3 beloved nieces Helena A. & Sophia M. Anesti, Cora Lily Browne; 2 nephews Jacob C. & Caleb R. Browne; his girlfriend Jennifer Glisper; and his foster brother Daniel Pisz. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 8 Rogers Ave., Wareham at 2 PM.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion.
