Neomi A. Alexander,  long time resident of West Bridgewater, died peacefully with her loving son by her side on Dec. 28 four days after celebrating her 85th birthday.

Neomi was the loving daughter of the late Retiyos and Nivart Kayikciyan and grew up in Istanbul Turkey. She married the late Herbert W. Alexander on March 19, 1963. The two would settle in West Bridgewater where they raised their son Herbert. Neomi was a devoted homemaker always worked on the family farm alongside her husband. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, summer day trips with her son, being with her friends, socializing and was always known as a kind and generous person. She lived a wonderful life and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving and devoted son Herbert W. Alexander Jr. of West Bridgewater as well as many relatives in Turkey and France. All are cordially invited to the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater on Wed. Jan. 2nd for a visitation period from 10:00am to 12:000pm with a funeral service starting at Noon. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St. West Bridgewater MA 02379.
