Paula C. Greene

Paula C. Greene, 75, of Yarmouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 21, 2019.

Paula was born on September 6, 1943 in Harwich, Massachusetts to the late Gwendolyn and Napoleon Cayouette.

She was a loving mother to four children:  Amy Greene of Southwick, MA; Karen Arnold and her husband Dwight of Southwick, MA; Ronald W. Greene, Jr., and his wife Melissa of Yarmouth, MA; and Matthew Greene and his wife Heidi of Yarmouth, MA.  She was “Grandma” to eight grandchildren:  Betsy, Emily, Jessy, and Nelly Robichaud, Jacob, and Abigail Howe, Julia and Colin Greene, and one great-grandchild, Lianah Robichaud. 

Paula also leaves her sister Linda Cayouette, her brother Jack Cayouette and his wife Nancy, and her brother Harold Cayouette and his wife Susann as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Ronald W. Greene.

Paula was an active member of the LDS Church in Brewster, MA where she spent many years volunteering in the Family History Center helping people trace their family roots. 

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always the central figure at all family gatherings.  She loved the beach and being out in nature and in her flower garden.  Her hobbies included needlepoint, jewelry, rug hooking and antiques.

The family would like to thank the hospice nurses of the VNA, Cape Cod for their compassion, care and guidance through this time.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 1:00 pm 3:00 pm with a prayer service at 2:00 pm at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth.   Burial will follow at North Harwich Cemetery.
