Petros J Tsoukalas

West Yarmouth - Petros J Tsoukalas, 84, beloved husband of Mary (Provas) Tsoukalas died after a brief illness on Friday, January 25, 2019. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late James and Morfoula (Gigas) Tsoukalas. Lived in Watertown, where he raised his family, retired and moved to W. Yarmouth, Ma.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Graduated from Wentworth and Northeastern Universities and had an engineering career with Raytheon.

He is survived by his sons James Tsoukalas and George Tsoukalas and his wife Renee, his daughter Stephanie Erb and her husband Christopher Erb; 7 Grandchildren, Kelsey, Petros, Jonathan, Demetrios, Mary, Phillip, Andoni; sister of Eva Melanson and her husband Donald of Peabody, brother Peter Tsoukalas and his wife Carol of Melbourne, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited together for a brief visitation on Saturday, February 2nd at 11:30 am -12:30 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Centerville Ma. Funeral services immediately following. Burial in the Chandler Gray Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1130 Falmouth Rd, Centerville, MA 02632.
