Phyllis M. (Davidson) O’Donnell, age 78 of Bridgewater died peacefully on Dec. 27th.

Phyllis was born in Weymouth and grew up in Weymouth before moving to Milton in 1953 . She was a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 1957 and would spend summers as a camp counselor at Camp Will in Maine where she met her husband, the late Ronald O’Donnell. Phyllis was a gifted bookkeeper for over twenty years for New England Life in Boston retiring at age 65. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved traveling and being with her friends at High Pond Estates. Phyllis was the former wife of the late Ronald J. O’Donnell, and the loving longtime companion of the late John M. King Sr. of Dorchester. Phyllis is the mother of the late Laurie M. Patt and her husband Ronald of Walpole, Scott D. O’Donnell and his wife Anne-Emmanuelle of London, and Brian K. O’Donnell and his wife Andrea of Hanson. Loving and proud “Nannie” of Amanda, Gregory, Christopher, Adam, Kendall, and Eloise. Loving sister of Marcia Field of VA and also survived by other relatives and dear friends.

All are cordially invited to the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater on Fri. Jan. 4th for a visitation period from 10am to 12:30pm and service at 12:30pm. Burial will be held at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
