Richard Francis MacDonald Jr.

Richard Francis MacDonald Jr., 58, of East Falmouth, passed away unexpectedly at Falmouth Hospital on August 2, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia MacDonald.

Rick had a deep love of the ocean and enjoyed nothing more than his wife Cindy, as his co-captain and his dog Max on the bow of their boat. Rick will be missed beyond words.

Rick was the oldest Son of Ann (Kilday) MacDonald and the late Richard F. MacDonald of Falmouth. Beloved husband to Cynthia (Monaco) MacDonald; her children Tonya Monaco of Marston Mills, and Kim Jordon of Whitman. A big protective brother to his seven brothers and sisters; Cathy Roland, husband Dick Roland of Hobe Sound FL, Stephen MacDonald, James MacDonald, his wife of Chandler, AZ, John MacDonald, his wife Christine of Gilbert, AZ, Mike MacDonald and wife Kim of Mashpee, Ann Marie Katz and husband Edward of Beverly Hills CA, Thomas MacDonald of Falmouth Heights.

A visitation will be held at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. (Rte 151) Mashpee, on Wednesday August 7, 2019 from 9:00am to 10:30am. A funeral mass will follow at Christ the King Church 3 Job’s Fishing Rd. Mashpee at 11:00am. Burial will take place at a later date at Great Neck Woods Cemetery in Mashpee.
