Robert K. Sanborn

Mashpee, MA - On Saturday, February 2, 2019, Robert Kenneth Sanborn, father, son, brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at the age of 53 years.  Bob will be forever remembered by his loving daughters, Camille and Grace of Boston, MA, his parents, George and Jaclyn Sanborn of Falmouth, MA, and brothers Greg (Laurie) Sanborn of Yarmouth, ME and Scott (Sigrid) Sanborn of Piedmont, CA.  Bob is also survived by his adoring nieces and nephews, Matt, Orly, Veerle, Evelyn and Ben.

Instilled with a constant curiosity and youthful energy, he had a love of video games, science fiction and computers since his teens. Bob expanded his initial interests to include all aspects of home and personal device technology. Bob enjoyed his role as the family’s tech repair man and capitalized on these skills when he founded Cape Cod Computer Services nearly a decade ago.  Bob was devoted to his two daughters and actively encouraged them in their individual interests, from science to animation to cooking, and together they spent nights stargazing at the beach and many days at ComiCon.  With his father, mother and brothers, he joined in on many home renovation projects over the years bringing the tools, the YouTube videos, and a ton of positive energy.  For his nieces and nephews, no one led a better water balloon assault than Uncle Bob.  He was always willing to lend a hand and with his humble demeanor and sense of humor, he befriended everyone he met.  Bob will be sadly missed by many friends and family and will be in our hearts forever.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, Feb. 6th at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Hwy (Route 28A), West Falmouth. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, Feb. 7th at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Rd, North Falmouth.
