Alan W. Auglis

1941 ∼ 2017

Alan W. Auglis, 76, of Bridgewater died on December 21, 2017 at Good Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by his family after a brief illness.  He was the loving husband of Carol A. (Belloli) Auglis of Bridgewater and son of the late Adam and Amelia (Giovanoni) Auglis.

Alan was a veteran of the Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed working on cars and was a member of the Wheels of Time.  He especially loved his Ford Mustang convertible.  Alan also liked woodworking and was known to always have a good joke to share.

In addition to his wife Carol he is survived by his sons, Alan Auglis and his wife Debbie of Palm Bay, FL, Eric Auglis and his wife Dodie of Yulee, FL, and Scott Auglis and his wife Gina of Jensen Beach, FL; Loving grandfather of Kristen, Erika, Taylor, TJ, Jason, and Brandon.  He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Auglis, Sybil Donovan, Philip Auglis, Leschia Nelson, and Serena Faria.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater followed by a memorial service at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alan’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
