Alexander Ian Diamantopoulos, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 13, 2019

He was born on May 3rd, 1993 in Boston, MA to Ben and Suzanne Diamantopoulos. He was the most amazing brother to Effie, Olympia, and Jake Diamantopoulos, the beloved grandson to James and Olympia Diamantopoulos, Sandra Maclean and Robert Findlay, and Willy Williams. 

Alex worked for the Plumbers Local 12 Boston.  He lived his life to the fullest, genuinely kind, and a true confidant. But above all he was unquestionably loyal.

He will be greatly missed. We love you big guy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 2-5 PM at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Greek Evangelical Church, 1115 Centre Street, Newton, MA.  Burial will follow at The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.

Alex had a great love and passion for hockey, and he loved kids so we thought it would be fitting to establish a scholarships fund in his name to deserving children at the DY Youth hockey program.  In lieu of flowers or gifts to the family , please make checks payable to DY Youth hockey and mail to 25 Anthony Road, West Yarmouth 02673
