Alice (Ali) Ferioli, a life-long resident of Bridgewater, died peacefully at LifeCare Center of West Bridgewater on December 29, 2017 at the proud age of 100.  Ali was the loving daughter of Luigi and Louise (Folloni) Resmini. Like many children of the era, she left school after the 8th grade in order to help support her family.  She was married for 40 years to her childhood sweetheart, neighbor, and best friend, the late William (Bo) Ferioli, on October 12, 1940 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.  She was a devoted homemaker and then later returned to work, at Lucy Shoe factory, installing heel pods for 20 + years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, the Lucy Bowling League, cake decorating, ceramics, cruises, traveling and spending time at the Senior Center with her sisters.  She especially loved cooking the Italian dishes she learned from her mother at an early age and she was particularly proud of her tortellinis which everyone loved.

Ali was the loving mother to William and his wife, Carmela (Corrente), of Bridgewater, Thomas of Bridgewater, and Dennis and his partner, Mark B. Rinder, of Atlanta.  Ali was also proud “Nonni” of Carmela (Ferioli) Kiessling of Stoughton, Marie (Ferioli) Hayes of Bridgewater, and William Ferioli of Middleborough, “Great-Nonni” of Samantha and Jessica Hayes, Rachel and Ryan Ferioli and John Paul Kiessling. Loving sister of Arlene Ryan of Plymouth, and the late siblings, Geraldine Resmini, Mary Ralli, Emma Messaline, Dorothy Pratti, Primo, Raymond and Louis. She was also the beloved aunt to three generations of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to calling hours at Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, on Thursday January 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  The funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass of christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center Street, in Bridgewater.  Burial will follow in Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
