Alice Teixeira

Alice (Picanso) Teixeira, 90, of East Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband Morris Teixeira.  Alice was born in Falmouth, the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Cabral) Picanso.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Cabral and her husband Tom, Debra Mitcho and her husband Ed, Sandra Marks and her husband Ken, Morris Teixeira and his wife Louise, Jane Haussmann and her fiancé Bud Hartling, Matthew Teixeira and his wife Elaine, and Jason Teixeira and his wife Loralynn; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves extended family, Dan and Sharon Theibault and Lee Pierce.

Alice was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to garden and had a love for animals.

A Graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 10 in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or the American Heart Assoc., Heart Gifts Processing Center, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY  13220-3049.
