Andrea P. (Pedersen) Chamsarian, 74, passed suddenly on September 26, 2018. Born in Milford, MA on July 3, 1944, to Blanche Jones and Alfred Pinkul, of Boston. She was the loving wife of 21 years to Errol Chamsarian of South Yarmouth. Step-mother to Matthew Chamsarian of Marstons Mills, and grandson Connor Chamsarian-Soule, Jason Chamsarian of Marstons Mills, wife Liz, and grandchildren Chapin and Britton, step-daughter Melanie Hart of Seekonk, husband Todd, and granddaughter Sasha Wilhelm-Hart.
Andrea graduated from UMASS with a degree in Political Science. She worked as a teacher, ran small businesses in antiques and collectables in New Hampshire, and most recently worked in real estate. Her longtime friend of 50 years, Emaline, always said that Andrea never had a fear of changing jobs.
She had a passion for animals, especially her beloved cat, Char. Andrea loved Christmas, decorating her home and making beautiful wreathes for her family, and stuffing stockings for Christmas day. Her St. Patrick’s Day and the “Repeal of Prohibition” parties were something all her friends looked forward to. She spent many hours beautifying her garden and being a part of the garden club of Yarmouth. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with Errol. Andrea looked forward to her Saturday morning conversations with her grandson, Connor. She was a fixture and well-known face at Longfellow’s in Yarmouth, and will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held at the Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth on Monday, October 1, 2018, beginning at 11 am and will conclude with a service at Noon.
