Angeline F. Hamilton

Angeline Flora Hamilton, a lifelong resident of Teaticket, passed away after a long battle with dementia, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 with her devoted daughter by her side. She was 84.

Angeline was born in Teaticket on April 15, 1935, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Andrade) Flora. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph H. Hamilton, Jr. who predeceased her in 2001. They were happily married for 47 years. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church going to mass everyday for years.

She worked in Robin's Laundry for many years until marrying Ralph Hamilton, and soon after she was hired at Jessie's Garage/Convenience Store until having her daughter.  She also worked at Angelo's Supermarket as the manager of the bakery.  Her passions included reading, walking, gardening and baking.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Cindy Dodd, son-in-law, Jim Dodd, and grandchildren, Evan Dodd and Emma Dodd of Teaticket, and her brother, Gilbert Flora of Trenton, NJ.  She was preceded in death by her sisters Lillian Kennedy of E. Granby, CT, Beatrice Araujo of Teaticket, and Madeline Willis of Clovis, NM.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, September 28, at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 E. Falmouth Hwy (Route 28), E. Falmouth. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
