Anthony L. “Butchy” Peluso Jr., 57, died peacefully of an acute illness on December 25, 2020 at Boston Medical Center, surrounded by loving family.

Anthony was the loving son of the late Anthony and Carol Peluso and grew up in Brockton and Onset, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School and had a lengthy career as a chef. He was proud of his most recent job at Brigham and Women's Hospital and always looked forward to work. Anthony was a true Bostonian who loved the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots. He also enjoyed spending time on the beach in Florida, spending time with family, and especially entertaining on the Fourth of July. He was a compassionate man and loved helping people and making everyone laugh. He was loved by everyone who met him and had the biggest heart.

Anthony was the loving father of Nicole M. Peluso of Dallas, Erica L. Peluso of Marshfield, and Kiana M. Shipp of Cohasset. He leaves behind former wife Alane B. Facella of Weymouth and sisters Paula J. Patti of Taunton and Julianne M. Peluso of Hyannis, brother Edward A. Peluso and his wife Joyce of Wareham. Uncle of Paul, Casey, Rachael and Jeremy.

Family and friends are cordially invited to the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater Massachusetts on Wed. Dec. 30th from 4-6pm. Please adhere to all covid-19 restrictions, wear a mask, and be socially distant.

A Private Funeral Service will begin at 6pm.
