Benjamin F. Santello

Benjamin F. “Ben” Santello, Jr., 92, of Falmouth, formerly of Natick and Framingham, passed away on May 16, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. Parsons Fox Santello for 36 years. He was born in Newton to the late Benjamin F. and Margaret (Bernardo) Santello.

Ben was a US Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War, rank Corporal. He was a member of the VFW Post #1274, in Natick. He worked as the plumbing inspector for the Town of Framingham.

Ben was an avid golfer, skier, tennis player, and enjoyed sailing and yoga. He had a love of music, both singing and playing the banjo, guitar and keyboard and enjoyed entertaining his family at “camp” on Granny Kent Pond in Maine. He traveled several times to his ancestral home in Italy.

He leaves his children and their spouses: Bruce Santello (Esther) of Nashua NH, Peter Santello (Gayle) of Marion, Paul Santello (Sharon) of Berlin, Dana Santello of Ashland, Richard Santello (deceased), wife Heather of Dover NH, Glen Santello of Northborough, John Santello (deceased) and wife Danielle of Milford, Benjamin Santello (Page) of Londonderry NH, Margaret Sleeper of  Natick, Steven Santello (deceased) of Foxborough, and Pauline Santello of Marlborough; his stepchildren: Kimberly Carney, Bellingham, Barbara Zelinsky (Vaughn) of Bourne, Kenneth Fox (Arlene) of Blackstone, John Fox (Lisa) of Sandwich, William Fox of Falmouth, Jennifer Markello (Rick) of Falmouth, and Kristen Nason (Brent) of Framingham. He was the loving grandfather of 46 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his brothers Richard Santello of Placerville CA and Lewis Santello of San Diego CA.
