Benjamin Wolkowitz

We are saddened to announce that after a courageous two-year battle against pancreatic cancer, Benjamin Wolkowitz of Chilmark, MA and  Madison, NJ passed away at his home in Chilmark on August 2, 2019. A devoted husband to Lois Wolkowitz, father to Rachel and Jacob, and devoted grandfather to Vivian, Albert, Mai, and Kristoffer.

A retired Morgan Stanley Managing Director with a doctoral degree in economics from Brown University, Ben served as the Vice Chair of the Futures Industry Association and prior to that, Vice President, of the Federal Reserve Board, Section Chief Division of Research and Statistics. 

Most recently, Ben devoted his time and energy to public service serving as a Madison Borough Councilman for two terms.

A memorial service will be held in Summit, NJ in September.

Ben will be greatly missed and always remembered.
