Bette V. Cunningham

On July 11th 2020, Bette Virginia (Kapp) Cunningham passed away peacefully at her home in South Dennis, MA in Cape Cod after a brief illness at the age of 97 years.

Bette raised eleven children and was pre deceased by her loving husband John P. Cunningham (Jack), loving daughter Patrice and loving son John E. Cunningham (Jack Jr.), leaving an incredible lineage of 9 surviving Children, 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren and their families.

She was originally from Tiffin, Ohio and went on to serve faithfully in WWII as a singer in the Coast Guard at the Port of Boston. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 31st at 11 AM at St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth. Burial with military honors will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
