Beverly L. King

Beverly L. (Ness) King, 82, of Bridgewater passed away on March 6, 2017 at the Braemoor Health Center.  She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Viola (Evans) Ness.

Beverly was born and raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, and being with family.  She was always the life of the party.

She is survived by her children, Gary King and his wife Tina of Brockton, Patricia Desgrosseilliers and her husband Archie of Bridgewater, Peter King and his wife Linda of Plymouth, and Jeffrey King and his fiancée Kristen Brooks of Plymouth, and David J. King of Plymouth; loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren.  Beverly is also survived by her sister, Pricilla Ness of Wareham and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, Herbert Ness and her sister, Arlene Holt.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater. 

Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Activities Dept. at Braemoor Health Center, “Music for Bev”, 34 N. Pearl St., Brockton, MA 02301.
