Brenda L. Vietri

1939 ∼ 2017

EAST FALMOUTH - Just days after her 78th birthday, Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Brenda Lee Vietri, died peacefully on Good Friday, April 14, at Falmouth Hospital.  She will be remembered for her love of family gatherings, sharing her recipes and decorating cakes for everyone she knew.  Brenda was the daughter of Joseph and Hilda Valerio, born in the same East Falmouth house she called home for the last twenty years.

Brenda was known for earning a living as a waitress, while at home, she made her stuffed quahogs for local restaurants.

Her life was filled with a variety of work, from assembling electronics at a few manufacturing companies, to helping care for others in need.

This allowed her to raise her family in the town she loved so much.  She spent many wonderful years married to her love, Charles F. Vietri. As the oldest of three, Brenda will be dearly missed by her extensive family.  She also leaves behind her four children, John Pires, Fran Ross, Michael Ross and Christopher Olsen and their spouses, four grandchildren and their spouses, and three great-grandchildren.

A service will be held for friends and family at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy (Route 28), East Falmouth.

In lieu of flowers, Brenda would prefer memorial contributions be made to the MSPCA of Cape Cod, 1577 Falmouth Rd. Centerville, MA 02632 (, as she took such great care of her all animals in need.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.
