Carol A. White-Murphy

Carol A. White-Murphy, 57, lifelong resident of Bridgewater and former drivers education teacher at Bridgewater-Raynham High School died peacefully after a lengthy illness on Dec. 29.
Carol was the loving daughter of Calvin and Alice (Kundrot) White of Bridgewater and was a graduate of BR Class of 1980, and BSU. She preceded her parents in being a drivers education teacher for over 25 years. She raised her children in Bridgewater and later in life, at age 50, she proudly graduated from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and would have a successful career as an RN for Partners Home Health. She was a passionate skier who took pride in teaching many people how to also ski. She loved the outdoors, being on the chairlift with her kids, or making time out of her own busy schedule to deliver meals on wheels. Carol was a self proclaimed parrot head and attended over 25 Jimmy Buffett Shows.
On Sundays you could find her in Section 127 Row 4 of all the Pats home games as she was a season ticket holder for many years. She loved her dog Charley, caring to her flowers, crafts, but most importantly being with her family and friends.
She was the loving mother of Jackie F. Murphy and Robert C. Murphy, both of Bridgewater. Loving daughter of Calvin and Alice White of Bridgewater. Loving sister of Sandra White of Bridgewater, Mark White and his wife Barbara of Nantucket, Michael White and his wife Nancy of FL, John White of Bridgewater, and Mary Riley of Raynham. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
All are cordially invited to the funeral procession gathering on Thurs. Jan. 3rd at Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater at 9am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St. Bridgewater at 10:00am. Visitation will be held on Wed. Jan 2nd from 4-8pm at the funeral home and burial will be private.
