Carol Ann Yachtis, age 80, passed away peacefully at Falmouth Hospital on November 14th 2020. She was born April 11, 1940 in Waterbury Connecticut to John and Josephine (Sheehan) Green.

She attended Wilby High School. She worked for many years at Portmeirion in Naugatuck Ct which allowed her many great travel experiences to New York City, a city she adored. Though one of her most memorable experiences with the company was attending high tea in Wales with company owners.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Yachtis and their child Paul who died shortly after his birth.

She also leaves behind daughter Michelle (Carrafa) Flaherty and partner Kevin Hagerty. Granddaughter AmyBeth Commendatore and her partner Jenny Cockrill. Granddaughter Sarah Borowski and husband Jon. Granddaughter Johannah Medeiros and husband Chris. Granddaughter Emily Thames and husband Josh. Her great grandchildren Paige, Jack, Zackery, Jason and Jacob. Her sister Nancy Rander and brother in law Steve. Numerous cousins, her nephews and friends who will all miss her dearly.

She moved in 2008 from Connecticut to Cape Cod to be closer to her family. While here she enjoyed planting flowers, playing cards and volunteering with the Falmouth Senior Center. She was a proud Irish woman who loved good Italian cooking. Her favorite birthday meal was veal piccata at La Cucina Sul Mare.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm in the Chapman Cole & Gleason, Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, MA 02540 followed by a service at 2:30 in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
