Carolyn A. Sagese

Carolyn A. Sagese, 68, of Mashpee, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born in Boston to the late Salvatore and Angela (Manzelli) Sagese. The family moved from Massachusetts to Ohio in 1958 and then back to Cape Cod in 1973.

Carolyn lived in a group home setting for many years and most recently attended a program for individuals with special health care needs at JML in Falmouth. She loved music, art, travel, the theatre, spending time with family and friends, and especially her favorite friend, a dog named Bella.  Carolyn was part of the Community Systems family for many years and for that we are eternally grateful. They loved her as much as we all did.

Carolyn is survived by her sisters, Roberta Sagese of Hyannis, Sally Wheeler and husband Joseph of Falmouth, and Mary Lou Motyka and husband Peter of Plymouth; and her nephews, Ryan Bunnell and Thomas Bunnell, Jr., both of  Falmouth.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 at Chapman Cole & Gleason, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, MA. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Community Systems Inc, 3 Cedar Hill Park Drive, Plymouth MA  02360.
