Cecile A. Lino

Cecile A. (Talbot) Lino, 85, of East Falmouth, passed away on November 16, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Lino. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late George L. Talbot and Florina M.L. Caouette.

She is survived by her children: Jo-Ann LeMoine (Richard), Sharon Donohue (Bill McLean), Walter Lino, Jr. (Nanci Pacheco) & David Lino (Michelle); and 6 grandchildren: Kristin Lahey (Ted), Meghan Lino, Michael Donohue (Rebecca), Stephen Donohue, Ryan Lino, and Tyler Lino; and one great grandson, Teddy Lahey. She is also survived by her sisters, Irene Bergeron, Muriel Bergeron and Florina Days, and a brother, Lionel Talbot. She was predeceased by her brothers, George Talbot and Armand Talbot.

Cecile was a 1951 graduate of New Bedford Vocational School and worked as a bookkeeper for F.W. Woolworth. After retiring from Woolworth in 1996, she continued working at Kenyon’s Market in E. Falmouth until 2013. She was a congregant of St. Anthony’s Church, a member of St. Anthony’s Couples Club and the Falmouth Senior Center.

Visiting hours will be held from 8:30-9:30am on Thursday, November 21st at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. A funeral Mass will follow at 10am at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 E. Falmouth Hwy (Rt. 28), East Falmouth. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Church (stanthonyscapecod.weshareonline.org), or the Falmouth Service Center (falmouthservicecenter.org).
