Charles B. Boyd, Jr. “Skip”

Charles B. “Skip” Boyd of East Bridgewater passed away on May 30, 2018.  He was the father of the late Daniel Boyd who passed on 9/25/2016, the longtime companion of the late Mary “Mickey” Reardon, and the son of the late Lois (Tash) and Charles B. Boyd, Sr.  Skip was born in Weymouth and served in the United States Army from 1962-1965 overseas in Germany as an Armor Crewman.  He loved music, books, baking breads, and visiting his grandchildren.

Skip is survived by his sons, Christopher Boyd of Florida and Wayne Boyd and his wife Kim of Raynham; grandfather of Nathan and Neala Boyd of Raynham and Sarah and Savannah Boyd of Halifax; brother of Linda Drost and her husband William of Bridgewater, Sheila Cummings and her husband Ronnie of Hanover, Jeanie Newcomb and her husband Dave of Pahrump, NV, Nancy Smith and her husband Bob of Laughlin, NV, and Tom Boyd of North Pembroke.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on June 8, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, off Connery Ave., Bourne.
