Charlie Peters

Falmouth—Charlie Peters, 82, died unexpectedly July 20, 2017. He was the dear Husband of Betty (Harkness) Peters for 53 years, the dear Dad of Karen Marie Peters of Hull, MA and dear Brother of Nancy Peters Hoene of Clermont, FL. He was predeceased by his Sister, Joan M. Peters of Santa Fe, NM.

Charlie is so greatly missed by his family and friends. He is remembered as being a loving, generous, witty and ethical all around good man. Charlie grew up in Walpole and Dover, MA. He has lived in Falmouth over 20 years, coming from Natick and Mattapoisett. He was Proprietor of an attorney/CPA firm, in Natick, Wellesley and Falmouth. He also chaired the Accounting Department at Nichols College for a number of years.

Charlie graduated from Tabor Academy, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (BS), the University of Denver (Finance MBA), Suffolk Law (JD) and Boston University (LLM).

Charlie loved the water from his youthful days on Lake Ossipee, NH to his “Sea Wind” in Falmouth. He rowed in lightweight varsity 8 man shell at UPenn. He also loved landscaping and beautifying his family homes.

Burial services will be private. A Memorial Service will be held in September.
