Cheryl Ann Fischer

Cheryl Ann Fischer known best as “Oma”, 65, of Greeneville, TN and formerly of East Bridgewater passed away on July 5, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Cheryl was born in Norwood and graduated from Brockton High School.  She was a resident of East Bridgewater for a number of years where she raised her family with Peter Ginsberg, deceased. Cheryl later married Robert Fischer of West Bridgewater and moved to Melbourne, FL, where they lived for several years, before moving to Greeneville,TN.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband and primary caregiver, Robert Fischer of Greeneville, TN. She is also survived by her children, Matthew Ginsberg and his wife Stacy of Rockledge, FL; her stepchildren, Tammy Tofteroo and her husband Eric of Bridgewater and Scott Fischer and his wife Sarah of Raynham; her sisters, Lorraine Gardiner and husband Terry, Susan Benvie, and her brother, Steven Benvie, all of Greenville, TN.  Cheryl is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

With her death, she will be joining her son, Eric Ginsberg, mother, Ruth Cotter and her father, Charles Benvie in her final resting place.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00-1:00 PM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to a charity of your choice.
