EAST FALMOUTH - The beautiful soul of Cheryl Terese Wieseler returned to Heaven on June 24, 2020. Beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, Cheryl was first and foremost known for her love of family especially her two children Kaitlin and Erik. Cheryl was a dedicated teacher’s aide at East Falmouth Elementary School where she considered her school friends an essential part of her well-being.  She spoke often about their love and whole-hearted support especially during her challenge of beating breast cancer.  But our Cheryl was also known for her infectious and hearty laugh, beautiful, sparkling eyes, excellent cooking and a natural golf swing with which she managed a hole in one at the age of 8!

Cheryl was born in Pasadena, California; the youngest of four girls. She grew up in San Diego, California where she attended St. Charles Borromeo Academy, Point Loma High School and later Humboldt State University achieving a degree in Liberal Arts-Education. She later moved to East Falmouth, Massachusetts where she raised her two beautiful children and began her career as an elementary educator.

Cheryl is survived by her children Kaitlin and Erik Worley, her mother and father, Rita (Bagby) and Charles Wieseler, and her sisters, Catherine Eccles, Connie Duensing and Carla Wieseler-LeHardy in addition to seven nieces and nephews, three great nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom she loved dearly.

A private service will be held near San Diego at the Mission San Luis Rey, Oceanside, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen at the site below in honor of Cheryl and her lifelong support of the fight against breast cancer. Once at the site, scroll down to “Memorial Campaign” and select “Dedicate your donation.”

Cheryl was loved more than words can ever convey. She will be greatly missed until the day we see her again in the home of our Lord.
