John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? May the Lord continue to hold and embrace the entire Segolini family!

David and I first got to know Adilson as Ines’s husband when she was employed at our company. His father introduced him and I recall giving Adilson a small gift to say thanks for a favor. It was a bottle of wine and Adilson graciously accepted it but said”Rose, I don’t drink but I will use it in cooking”! This is just one example of Adilson’s many good attributes. We loved him for his gentleness, honesty, reliability and goodness. Over 20 years we have watched this hard working family flourish . Our grandchildren had fun on several occasions playing with Dariel and Isabela when they visited the Cape. We are profoundly sad that his life has been so short, feel great sympathy for Ines who has lost the love of her life and grateful that we had the privilege of knowing this special young man whose memory will remain with us forever.

By far the best person I ever met. I worked for Adilson in a short period of time at Segolini’s Construction, He was alway in good spirits and very caring to his employees and others. Despise his battle with Cancer he had never led to be self-center. I never saw him complaining of his health situation, instead he always showed strength, and positive attitude till the end. You will be missed greatly brother, rest in piece Friend. May God comfort his family and love ones through this difficult time. He will be missed greatly

We are so saddened by the passing of Adilson. He was not only an outstanding contractor, but he was a wonderful human being. He was honest, straightforward and full of great suggestions. I recall the day after a huge wind storm, one of his crews was working across the street. I had lost 4 shingles from the edge of my roof and I asked him if one of his men could replace them for me and that I had the new shingles. I said that I could do it, but that they were too close to the edge of the roof. With his dry sense of humor, he said, “What your wife doesn’t want to live alone?” He took the 4 shingles, borrowed my ladder and replaced them himself. I tried to pay him, but he said he would catch me on the next project. This personifies the character of Adilson. We will miss him.
