BJ was one of the coolest women I have known . She made me and all who met her feel interesting ; she really connected with others and genuinely cared . My husband and daughter who did not know BJ that well were both saddened to hear of her passing . She had that effect on people . I’m sorry for your loss and was happy to have known BJ Manoog .

I was Bettejane’s niece. When she came to visit us in Texas, she loved to sit and read by the pool. She so enjoyed Soaking up the sun. I’m going to miss those times.

My sympathies to BJ's family. BJ was a yoga friend at the TYC yoga studio in North Falmouth. She enjoyed chair yoga with us for several years. She had shared with us some issues with her heart but always seemed lively and enjoying our practice together. She always spoke with great enthusiasm about her volunteer work at JML. I did not know she attended Bancroft School and Lesley. Those were two schools that those of us in elementary education admired. I am so sorry for your loss, and will miss BJ a great deal. To BJs family: I knew both your parents when I was a little girl in Worcester before 1976 when we relocated to Guatemala. I have fond memories of our visits to your house and BJ and Russel. Recently your Mom and I became friends on Facebook and we shared many comments. It was a shock to hear of her passing and she will be missed. I wish you comfort.

We met BJ right after Alexander was born. Since then, we have celebrated every Thanksgiving and spent several summers together were she made us feel welcome and part. BJ was always so kind to us and to our extended family. We have many, many good memories from those times together. Last time we saw her was at Thanksgiving dinner at Sarah’s: BJ looked impeccable as usual, happy and looking forward to doing so many things. She will be greatly missed. We are sorry about your loss. Our condolences to the Manoog family.
