So saddened to hear of the death of Irene. Irene and I go way back. We went to school together and remained friends all these years. Her brother Bob and my sister Alberta were long time companions, and the families stuck together. What a good kid she was. We had a lot of fun times together throughout the years. May she Rest In Peace, no longer in pain. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Irene. Sending love and prayers for her family. I remember many cookouts and celebrations at the house. Irene was a great cook and hostess. No one ever went home hungry. She will be missed. Love Auntie Ginny

Such fond memories: Saturday nights, vacations in Maine, Christmas night and of course, the best lasagna in the world! (No Exagerration) An amazing woman tested and true, always persevering. So fortunate to know and love such a beautiful person. To the Hennessey family; it's times like these when words fail us. I find none that will ease your pain. Instead, we send our admiration and love. May you find comfort in your memories, love in your soul and peace in your heart. She would want that for us all.

I want to offer my condolences to all. I had the privilege of meeting Irene about seventeen years ago. I knew at that time she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. I will forever keep her in my prayers.
