The world is less with her loss. The obituary listed many attributes. Her passion and fierceness burned enough to keep people nearby warm. Her kindness and energy, balanced with acerbic wit. In the winter I used to skate early, before we went to work, at her little pond. There were warm drinks as she explained at pointed length how crazy I was to be out there so early and cold.
