Every day since we lost you, so memories roll in and out; they are all special and help keep sadness at bay. I will continue to savor the wonderful memories and keep you with me as the light Margot spoke of. Love always. Leenie

I would have to say I was very fortunate to actually have been with Jack only a few times. But from what I remember in those visits, I knew I was with a real gentleman. Gentleman come from a past era, and I can honestly say I have only met two “real” gentleman in my life. You know the kind I am talking about, that Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck type. I really got to know Jack through a lady I have utmost respect for & love very much, my amazing sister-in-law Eileen. Whenever she went to visit her dad & Margot, she would send photos & emails of her visits. I would exchange Christmas cards every year with Jack & Margot, and it was like I had known them my whole life. Unfortunately we lived on opposite ends of the coast, so my only connection was through Eileen & our Christmas cards. John, Micky, Jimmy, Maureen, Mark & Nancy, our prayers are with you at this time. I know it’s been years since I’ve seen you all, but the memories are great! Yes, even you Micky, lots of laughs!! Margot I do know that you are an incredible lady, and I also know that is what Jack thought. I am so sorry for your loss, but know you are blessed to have so many loved ones with you. And Pat, my dear friend forever!! Love you & yes I know “what happens in Alaska stays in Alaska”! Come visit us very soon!!! Finally to Eileen... from one daughter who adored her dad to another, pass it on. Pass on his love, his beautiful smile, his kindness, and love for life. Wish I could be there with you, but... know you will send me lots of photos & and tell me everything. Sorry Pat, what happens in Cheshire doesn’t stay in Cheshire:)

Lynn and I had the pleasure of dining with [Uncle John] Jack and Margot 2 or 3 times a year in the past 4 years or so. "Good to see you Jack" and he'd always reply "it's good to be seen!" I wish I spent more time with him. He was like a mentor to me. Lynn loved Jack and we miss him dearly.
