Bob was my father-in-law. What a gift he was to me. He was kind, loving, and loved to laugh. I'm going to miss that laugh. I'm also going to miss the palpable, genuine, unconditional love he had for his family and especially his grandchildren. RIP Bob, we love you.

Im the surviving wife of Tom Owens..your Dad and Tom worked together at Pacific andtheir surviving companies, with Tom retiring a few years before your Dad. When they flew together in San Francisco, they shared rides together, your Dad picking up Tom in his little volkswagon..they looked so cute going down the drive in that little car..We also stayed overnight with your mom and dad when they lived in Tahoe, with your mom fixing breakfast and your dad saying the morning prayer. We loved your mom and dad and were honored to call them dear friends. I didnt know that Bob was sick, until I saw the obituary online, we heard from him at Christmas and he didnt mention being sick. Tom passed away a month before your dad..we had been married 58 years. your dad was very proud of both of you boys as well as his grands. I wish your family well and am looking forward to seeing both Ida and your dad, Bob in heaven as well as my husband and oldest son who passed in 2018..blessings to you all..Betty Owens
