A beautiful, kind and gentle soul. Anyone that knew Ruth Fyfe was blessed to know one of the Lord’s angels on this earth. I hope that my daughters follow in her footsteps of faith, dedication, compassion, love and humble presence. I will be having many cups of tea and grilled cheese sandwiches in your memory. We love and miss you Grandma, great grandma.

Grandma, Thank you for making me feel loved, for showing me your example of calm, peace, and devotion to family. I loved our walks, sleepovers, tv time, holidays, your cookies, your hugs. You were always available to us as kids. Coming home from college on weekends and Mom picking me up at the train. First stop, always your house. Always encouraging. Always a listener. You gave us the gift of imagination. I remember creating tents and houses out of boxes. Playing games for hours. I credit much of my interest in education to you. I’m certain that you are with God and enjoying time with Grandpa. Until we meet again, I carry your joy and peace in my soul. I love you, Ricky

Grandma- You never sat down, until you were done waiting on us all. You always laughed at pretty much everything I ever told you. You loved listening to me and all my jobs; you built in me a blue collar spirit. You made the BEST grilled cheese & cream of tomato, and I always knew where I could eat 3 squares a day: 373 Spring St (as long as you’re there on time, and I mean 12pm and 5pm sharp! As Grandpa would say) You were the epitome of a perfect grandmother: always loving, gentle, caring kind, soft, trusting, loyal. You showed me love in all of your actions and built memories that will outlast lifetimes and I promise to always pass on and have to my boys. Enjoy dancing with Grandpa, I know Nat King Cole is singing “unforgettable” to you both in Heaven while you dance among the angels. Jesus said “Ruth come home unto Me- my good and faithful servant, for you have accomplished My Fathers will for your life, for you lived your life in Me, you showed many who I truly am, LOVE” I love you more than you love me, Sean

I will miss Ruth, she was the most sweetest person and kind hearted woman . I looked at her like she was my own grandmother. I was blessed to have known her for many years and enjoy the times we sat around her kitchen table chit chatting. One of the things I’ll remember most is her one of a kind laughter. Her great grandchildren Callum and Elliott will know her by the beautiful stories and memories Sean and I will share with them, for years to come.
