I recently learned of Stephens passing from a lifelong friend (Tommy Dragos), his nephew. I never met Stephen but after hearing Tommy speak of him, I wish I had. I come from a military background & served in the Army National Guard. I have a profound respect for veterans, especially those who served in Vietnam, Just wish they received a Better homing coming. You have my sincere condolences. Sincerely, Christopher Bohnsack

As Steven's neighbor for the past 2 yrs.,I found him to be very enjoyable to talk to and a proud grandfather - as it turned out that I had taught his grandson TJ in my skating class in Plymouth. Such a small world.

Steve had a wicked sense of humor. You never knew what he was about to say and that made it fun to talk to him. His story about trying to get your phone number when you first met and instead reaching your Italian speaking grandmother! I’m so glad he persevered in making contact! All of us at Pine at Pine Ridge are mourning his loss, and hope to welcome you back with comfort and love.

So many great memories of you Buck but what comes to mind from childhood were the "Jams" shorts, infamous chicken wings and that witty sarcasm. You were always a champion in the end zone watching Scotty flourish on the gridiron. Supporting him all the way to the pinnacle of the sport. Our loss on earth is heaven's greatest gift. I will take solace in knowing you were a true patriot to our great nation, a man of strong faith, a loving, devoted husband and a caring and supportive father and grandfather. God bless you and may your spirit forever light up the hearts of your family and friends. From the heart, Mike Rogers
