Daena “Gram” Wasierski

Daena “Gram” Wasierski passed away Saturday April 15, 2017 with family by her side.

She was born May 25, 1945, daughter to the late Mary and Thomas Robinson Sr. Daena grew up in Hyannis, where she still lived with her husband Ira, of 53 years.

Daena worked at Stop and Shop of Hyannis in the Deli for over 30 years where she was infamously known as “the cheese lady.”

Daena is survived by a large family.  In addition to her husband Ira she is survived by her son and daughter in-law John and Karen of Marstons Mills, as well as her four grandchildren; Taylor, her husband JP, Thomas, his wife Janee, Kyle and Katie, and a great granddaughter Coraline. She is also survived by her sister Velma and her husband Jack of Hyannis and one brother Donny and his wife Linda of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Daena was predeceased by two brothers Thomas and William.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the wonderful life of Daena, Sunday May 21, 2017 at 1pm, held at the Hyannis Golf Club on Rte 132 in Hyannis.
