Daniel Frank Botelho

Daniel Frank Botelho 89, of East Falmouth, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 14, 2017,  after a period of failing health.  He was the beloved husband of Theresa A. (Piazza) Botelho for 62 years.  He was born and raised in Falmouth, the son of Manuel and Emilinda (Romiza) Botelho.

Daniel was a WWII Navy Veteran, Army/Air Force reservist, upon retirement he worked for many year as a school bus driver for Falmouth Schools.  Affectionately known as "Mr.B" he often talked fondly of his former students.  He spent many happy hours making baskets and carving wood items for his family and many friends.  

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Wendy and Ken Sylvester of Falmouth, Daniel (Sam) Botelho of Falmouth, Heidi and Paul Perekrests of Winchester, VA, Jane and Gregg Jordan of Brockton. He has 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Siblings Dee and Ginny,  predeceased by Joseph, James, Louis, and Lillian.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday July 18 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral home, 475 Main Street.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday July 19 at Saint Anthony's  Church, 167 E. Falmouth Hwy (rt 28), East Falmouth.  Private burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
