David J. LaPorte

David J. LaPorte, 40, of Mashpee, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2020. He was the loving son of David and Jeanne LaPorte.

David attended Cape Cod Technical High School. He worked as a carpenter for many years. David was very crafty and loved to fix things such as boats. He even refurbished his own boat and loved to go fishing on it, especially with his father David. He also enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He was also a member of the Singletary Rod and Gun Club in Sutton. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was a loving son, brother and fiancée and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents David and Jeanne, David is survived by his brother Christopher LaPorte of Mashpee, David's fiancée Sarah Bennett of East Falmouth, his step-children Kaylee, Kiara, Kameron, Nicco, his step-granddaughter Arabella and many aunts, uncle, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. (Rte 151) Mashpee, on Friday July 17, 2020 from 9:30am to 10:30am. A funeral mass will follow in Christ the King Church 3 Job’s Fishing Rd. Mashpee at 11:00am. Burial will be private.
