Dawn Marie Mowrey

Dawn Marie Mowrey, 50, of Fall River, formerly of Mashpee, passed away after a long illness on February 10, 2019. She was the loving daughter of Gary and Mary DeGon. She is predeceased by her father David Miller.

Dawn graduated from Chelmsford High School. She also graduated from Middlesex Community College. Dawn spent her life caring for others as a Nurse’s Aide and a Home Health Aide. She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her parents Gary and Mary, Dawn is survived by her daughter Jaelynn Mowrey and her partner Kenneth Brown of Fall River; brothers, William Miller and wife Donna of Colorado, and Joseph DeGon and companion Chantell Marie of Maine; her grandson Gunner Ray Brown, who arrived the same day God called her home; her nephew William DeGon; 2 nieces Sydney DeGon and Rebecca Miller; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. (Rte 151) Mashpee, on Thursday February 14, 2019 from 8:30am to 10:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow at Christ the King Church 3 Job’s Fishing Rd. Mashpee at 11:00am. Burial will be private.

In appreciation for the compassionate end of life care that was given to Dawn, the family asks that donations be made to Vibra Hospital, 4499 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford, MA 02745.
