Desse J. (Vlamos) Polychrones, 98, of Mashpee, passed away November 27, 2019.

Born in Somerville, MA, daughter of the late John & Sophia Vlamos. Beloved wife of 72 years to Stephen Polychrones of Mashpee, devoted mother of Patricia Dykeman and her husband George of Stoughton, Susan Hansen and her husband Ralph of Osterville, Stephanie Spencer and her husband Robert of Easton. Loving yiayia of Scott Dykeman and his wife Kathleen, Melissa McCormack and her husband Kerry, Stephen Hansen and his wife Rachel, Gregory Hansen, Jonathan Spencer and his wife Erin, Courtney Jansson and her husband Brad, and Alexander Spencer and his wife Gretchen. Grand yiayia of Colin, Patrick, Sabrina, Chloe, Braden,William, Julia, Aurora, Sienna, Spencer, Bentley, and Easton. Loving sister of Dorothy Katsogaines of Redondo Beach, CA. and the late Penelope Achilles.

A Visiting hour will be in St George Greek Orthodox Church, Falmouth Road, Centerville on Thursday December 5, 2019 from 10 – 11AM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11AM in the church. Burial will be in MA National Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1330 Falmouth Road, Centerville, MA 02632.
