Devyn James Killion, 25, beloved son of James & Becky Killion was taken from his family on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from a fatal automobile accident in Mississippi.
Along with his parents, he leaves his paternal grandparents, Carol Keeney and her late husband Robert of Bourne, James Killion of FL, Debra Wallace of FL, Gordon Tonge of Bourne; his aunt Charlene M. Tilden of Mattapoisett, Patricia Keeney of Exeter, NH, Rachael & Ryan Greaney, his cousins Samantha and Britney Tilden, Vincent Pennisi, and Jadeyn and Kallyn Greaney, and Devyn’s little man, Max Joseph Moniz, who he loved and adored.
He leaves behind a very special person in his life, Heather Dawn and her family of Poplarville, MS. Maevery (Mae) who he loved and adored will miss her Grampa. His precious Goddaughter, Isabella who he adored and loved so much, his life long best friend Boomer, aka Brother, and Em, who he shared many special and happy moments with. Devyn also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and friends.
Devyn graduated from Bourne High School, Class of 2012 and from Bridgewater State University in 2017. Locally, Devyn was a driver for Pizza by Evan in Monument Beach, and after his move to Poplarville, MS in 2018, he worked for a consolidated debt loan company and also Olive Garden.
Devyn enjoyed sports, he played baseball for Bourne Little League, Babe Ruth and the Bourne Canalmen, basketball with his friend, Boomer, he did karate and his favorite pastime was playing video games. He was an avid fan of all New England sports team. He had a contagious smile and a goofy laugh and was always happy and fun to be around. A caring and loving person, he was always there to help others who were lost in life and helped them find a new path.
Devyn was too young to leave us, but we have all been blessed having Devyn in our lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham, MA from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM. A service of sharing and remembrance will follow at 3:30. All relatives and friends are invited to a collation after the service at the Wareham-New Bedford Elks Lodge, 2855 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt 28), East Wareham.
