Diana C. Butler

1951 ∼ 2018

Diana C. Butler, 57, of Bridgewater, formerly of Melrose and South Yarmouth, on June 2. Beloved daughter of Jane C. Butler of Bridgewater and the late Paul F. Butler. Cherished sister of Brian of Bridgewater, Linda of Northampton, MA, Craig and his wife, Maggie, of Orono, ME, and Suzanne and her husband, Mark Klyza, of New Orleans, LA. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews and the devoted caregivers who helped in her decades-long struggle with Pick’s disease, especially Jane Quintal and JoAnn Abair. The family also thanks the staffs of the Island Terrace Nursing Home in Lakeville and NRC in Middleboro.

Before the onset of her illness, Diana enjoyed painting, tennis, skating, and family vacations in Maine.

A gathering in memory of Diana will be held on Sunday, June 17, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole, & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, MA, 02324​.
