Diane W. Poole

Diane Williams Poole died at home in the very early hours of Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her loving family amidst stories of fond memories at the time of her passing.

Diane grew up in Cohasset, raised her family in South Dartmouth, and spent the remainder of her years in beautiful Falmouth. Throughout her life she was an active member of the Greater New Bedford Garden Club and then the Newcomers Club/Dirt Diggers of Falmouth. Along with her passion for gardening, she loved living by the water, cherished her pets and animals of all kinds, and treasured her family.

Diane is survived by her brother, Frank Williams of Cohasset; her sons Tom Poole, and his wife Iara, of Falmouth and Tim Poole, and his wife Raquel, of Fall River; her daughter Tammy Brown, and her husband John, of Marshfield; her grandchildren Ava Poole, Nicholas Poole, and his brother Maximus Poole; Logan Brown and his sisters Autumn Brown and Hope Brown; and many dear friends. Diane is predeceased by her loving parents, Frank and Threasa Williams and her beloved dogs.

Visiting hours will be held at Chapman, Cole, & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth on Thursday, November 1 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm followed by a brief funeral service and reception.
