Dorothy E. Robinson

Dorothy E. Robinson of Mashpee MA was born in Newton, MA on June 16, 1936. Dorothy or "Dottie" as the family knew her was the wife of the late Peter H. Robinson, and daughter of the late Sarah Doherty (Campbell) and Richard Kent.

Dottie is survived by her children Donald MacKenzie, Debbi MacKenzie, Dennis MacKenzie and his wife Mary, Denise Keefe and her husband Robert, Deanne Torpy and her husband Joseph, and Peter Robinson. Dottie is also survived by her siblings Marjorie Dean, Nancy Gallant and her husband Arthur, Daniel Kent and his wife Donna, Irene Caracci, Jackie Roche and her husband Robert, Jean Santillo and her husband William, Gail Kneeland, Arthur Kent, William Kent, Sally Liberatore, Susan Kent, and Dollie Unger and her husband Gary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Dottie is predeceased by her daughter Dawn MacKenzie, her son Darrell MacKenzie, her brothers Robert Kent and Richard Kent and also her son in-law Jack Bindig.

Dottie enjoyed working for many years as a florist for Seabrook Flowers in Hyannis, MA.  She also enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  One of her favorite Cape Cod spots was Rock Harbor where she loved watching the sunset and eating lobster rolls from Young’s Fish Market.

Visitation hours are from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a funeral home service to begin at 2:00 pm at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave., (RTE 151) Mashpee, MA on Sunday, November 24, 2019. Burial will immediately follow at Great Neck Woods Cemetery, Mashpee. A celebration of Dottie’s life will take place at the Falmouth Navigator Portuguese American Club located at 55 Ashumet Rd, East Falmouth MA
