Douglas Scott Perry, age 48, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Falmouth Hospital after a brief illness. Doug was the beloved son of John and Pat Perry of East Falmouth.
Doug was born in Marion but lived most of his life in East Falmouth. Doug graduated from Upper Cape Regional High School in 1990 and then started his career in customizing cars and motorcycles. In 2009, Doug became the owner/operator of Waquoit Auto Sales, Inc. and Waquoit Customs in East Falmouth. Doug loved being part of the business community in East Falmouth and he was aided in this successful business by his father, John and his many friends in the area.
Doug was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic church in Falmouth.
Doug was the loving brother of the late Nicole Perry of Falmouth. Besides his parents, Doug is survived by his daughter Breanna Nicole Perry of Falmouth, his special, young nephew Noah Perry-Lewis of Brockton, his uncle and aunt, Lou and Blanche Perry of Mattapoisett and his uncle Barry Barrows of New York, along with many wonderful and caring cousins and friends.
Doug was a warm, caring son and a loyal generous friend who loved to laugh and loved giving his time and attention to his family and his many friends. Doug will be truly missed.
Visiting hours will be held at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St, Falmouth on Friday, August 16 from 4-7pm. Burial will be private.
